The bright rooms at Afandou Sky are simply furnished and decorated to make guests feel right at home. I loved the rooms with a balcony, enjoying various views. Some rooms even have air conditioning and a desk, which made my stay even more comfortable.

Personally, I found that having only a shower in the private bathroom was not my preference, but others might still enjoy it.

I chose Afandou Sky Hotel specifically because of its ideal location near Agios Nikolaos Church. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the reliable service and professional staff. The panoramic view, swimming pool, snack bar, and restaurant were also impressive features of this 34-room hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the center of Afandou and also near Butterfly Valley. the rooms are clean and spacious, with a nice view of Afandou. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing local advice and efficient cleaning services.

The facilities are a bit dated and in need of refurbishment in some areas.

The Water Views

One of the highlights of my stay at the hotel was the breathtaking views from my balcony. Waking up to the glistening water and stunning landscapes was like stepping into a postcard. It felt like I had my own personal painting, reminding me of the beauty of nature. The serenity and tranquility that came with those views were truly unparalleled.

The hotel was a real value for money, with affordable prices and excellent attention to detail. The location, set on a hill, provided beautiful views of the village from the rooms with balconies. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with air conditioning to beat the summer heat. Plus, having a good conditioner in the room was a nice touch. Additionally, the breakfast included was a great way to start the day.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very nice and the view from my room was beautiful. The rooms may not be modern, but they were cleaned every day, which was sufficient considering the price. The air conditioning was included in the room rate, contrary to some reviews. The hotel is located in a quiet area on top of a hill, but still close to the beach. I felt like I was part of a big Greek family, with the staff laughing and joking with me in the morning and wishing me good night when I returned late at night. They were always available to answer my questions and provided great suggestions for daily plans without any advertising. It was a simple but warm-hearted place that made me feel at home. I left with the feeling that I had stayed in a very special place that I will return to one day.

The hotel could benefit from improving accessibility, as the hill leading to it may be challenging for some guests.

Had a lovely Xmas experience in this hotel. The breakfast was very nice, served by the pool which gave a relaxed atmosphere. The location was key, as it was only a short walk to the town center where we found a variety of great shops to visit. What we appreciated the most was the friendly staff, who provided us with outstanding service and made us feel very welcome.

The room itself was not up to standard. It was a bit old-fashioned, without proper air conditioning and had a poor shower pressure.

Not obvious to find.

I had one of the best holidays in recent years at Afandou Sky in Afandou. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease and welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. the hotel manager, Savvas, was especially warm and had a great sense of humor. the spacious room with a balcony overlooking the ocean was comfortable, and the public areas were well-maintained. the pool area, with its clean and tidy setup, offered a beautiful sea view, umbrellas, sunbeds. the hotel also had a nice pool bar where they played a variety of music, including traditional and modern Greek music, as well as international hits. the kitchen served tasty food, and I particularly enjoyed the omelet and Greek ice coffee frappe. the excellent service and enjoyable atmosphere made for a delightful stay. Cons: None. 😊.
